Dawood Basha Kofta with Vermicelli Rice

Mix all the meat mixture ingredients together, then shape the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.

Broil the meatballs in the oven until lightly browned on both sides, then set aside.

Add the meatballs, potato cubes, onion cubes, and green bell pepper cubes to a pot. Boil the meatballs and vegetables together for 10 minutes.

In a pot, add about 3 cups of hot water, 2 tablespoons oil, the bouillon cube, and salt.

Pour in 3 cups of hot water with a pinch of salt and cook the rice over low heat until done.

Blend the two cans of tomatoes in a blender, then pour them into the pot and continue cooking the kofta until fully cooked and the sauce thickens.

To cook the rice: Sauté the vermicelli noodles in vegetable oil until golden brown, then add the rice and stir in the oil for a bit until the rice grains are coated.

Serve the kofta with the vermicelli rice.
