Add the khoya in a pan cook on a low flame for few minutes switch off the flame and add sugar stir continuously.then on the gas then add cashew powder stir the mixture will become smooth and slightly thin

Stir often and continue to cook on a low flame. When the mixture becomes slightly thick and starts leaving the sides of the pan then switch off the flame

Pour the barfi mixture in the greased plate and sprinkle the saffron scented milk on the barfi then barfi mixture cool then slices barfi with help of knife and serve
