Blend tomatoes to a fine paste without any pulp and don't add water while blending.

Pour blended tomatoes in pan and let it simmer.

In another pan pour oil and add mustard seeds to hot oil and wait till it crackles then add asofoetida powder.and add it to tomato mixture.

add turmeric powder and chilly powder and salt.

Let it boil for 30 mins or till oil separates from tomato paste. mix well and serve hot.

This can be used as a side dish with Indian breakfast items or mix this in hot steamed white rice to get a tasty tomato rice recipe.

Store in glass bottle and Refrigerate and it will last for one month.
