Steps
- 1
Follow directions on cake mix.
- 2
Take a break while the cake cooks. When it's done set it aside to cool.
- 3
This is a great time to make up the pudding. Follow the directions on the box.
- 4
Depending on which type of pudding you chose (instant or cook) you might have to wait until that cools as well.
- 5
Once everything is nice and cool get out a real big bowl. Like a mixing or salad bowl.
- 6
Now comes the fun part.
- 7
I normally cut the cake into squares for this but to each their own. The end result must be to layer about half the cake on the bottom of the bowl.
- 8
Now put a layer of banana pudding on top of the cake.
- 9
Use one of the tubs of whipped cream to layer on the pudding.
- 10
This is why you want the cake and pudding to be cool. Otherwise the whipped cream will melt.
- 11
Cut up the bananas into slices to layer on top of the whipped cream.
- 12
Layer over with rest of the cake.
- 13
Repeat step 8.
- 14
With the last tub of whipped cream repeat step 9.
- 15
Make it fancy by arranging vanilla wafers on top with left over banana slices.
- 16
TA-DA! Now you have a cool yummy desert just in time for summer!
