Ingredients

  1. 1 cupsweetened coconut
  2. 1 cupblanched slivered almonds
  3. 2 tbspbutter
  4. 1/4 cupbrown sugar packed
  5. 1 1/2 tspvanilla
  6. 1/4 tspsalt
  7. 1/2 cupwhear germ
  8. 1/2 cupchopped dates
  9. 1/2 cupchopped dried apricots
  10. 1/2 cupcranberries
  11. 2 cupold fashioned oatmeal

    350 degree oven

    Mix oatmeal, coconut and almonds together

  3. 3

    Place on cookie sheet bake in10 - 12 minutes

    In saucepan mix butter, honey, brown sugar, vanilla and salt.

    Bring to a boil and set aside.

    Remove cookie sheet from oven. Pour oatmeal mixture into large bowl.

    Stir in dried fruits. Add the honey mixture and stir to blend.

    Place a piece of parchment paper and place into bottom of the8 x 12inch baking pan.

    Pat Dow the granola mixture into parchment lined pan.

    Bake into permeated 350°F oven for 35 to a40 minutes.

    Remove from oven and let set in pan overnight or several hours to set.

    Run a knife around edges to loosen from pan.

    Flip pan over and give the pan a whack.

    Peel parchment paper off and slice into bars.

  15. 15

    Wrap bars into cellphone paper to keep.
