My favorite type of icing on a cake

I love buttercream frosting, so I went looking for a recipe. Again, I am picky, so I combined a few different recipes that I found. After a few tries, I decided that this one was my favorite.I made this to go on cupcakes for Mother's Day. My wife, my mommy, my sister, and Mother-in-Law loved it so much.This can be used to make different kinds of frosting. Next time, I will add some cocoa powder for chocolate frosting.Enjoy!

To make.it into chocolate, add cocoa while mixing, just a little at a time till desire taste B-)

Really yummy perfect for piping and icing.

This vanilla buttercream icing is perfect for decorating and smoothing out cakes, great for piping, and just about anything! It took me so long to figure out why I couldn't get smooth and perfect icing like the professionals, as I had followed so many recipes to the T! Turns out I wasn't using quality ingredients..now I know that the key to a good buttercream is in the ingredients..so pay close attention to the brand's in this recipe!Enjoy!

Like a professional buttercream frosting

This recipe is the cupcake addiction recipe for her buttercream. I tried it. I really liked it, all i did was use vanilla extract. I use about 1-2 tsp vanilla extract.
