Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 400 gMinced Beef
  2. 960 gKidney Beans (drained weight)
  3. 500 gChunky Veg Pasta Sauce
  4. 600 gMild or Hot Salsa
  5. 400 gChopped Tomatoes
  6. 1 PkgChilli Con Carne Seasoning
  7. To TasteSalt and Pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Brown the mince in a skillet. Once browned, add the seasoning and mix. Add the seasoned mince to the crockpot.

  2. 2

    Drain the tins of kidney beans and add them to the crockpot.

  3. 3

    Into the crockpot, add the jars of pasta sauce, salsa and tins of tomatoes. Mix until fully combined.

  4. 4

    Cook on high for at least 4 hours or until beans are tender. Stir occasionally.

  5. 5

    Serve by itself or over cornbread and/or with a dollop of sour cream/creme fraiche.
