preheat oven to 170'c fan.. 190 normal

place apples castor sugar water and 25g of butter in a pot. heat till steaming then cover and cook for 3-4mins till fluffy. beat to remove lumps.

in a bowl beat 90g of butter and the soft brown sugar till fluffy.add golden syrup eggs and vanilla extract. fold flour in to the mix

add the bicarbonate soda to the apples then nix the cake mix and the apple mix together quickly.

put cake mix in a greased cake tin and bake for 40- 45 mins

for the toffee sauce

melt sugar and butter in a pot when combined add cream and simmer for 3-5 mins

this is really tasty served warm with vanilla ice-cream then the sauce poured over.... yummy
