Blend shortening/butter and peanut butter together. Add sugars, blend well.

Beat in eggs until fluffy.

Sift flour, salt, and baking soda together. Stir gradually into peanut butter mixture until well blended.

Shape dough into small balls and place on cookie sheet, flatten with fork.

Bake at 375°F for 10-15 minutes.

Makes 4-5 dozen.
