Ingredients

  1. appetizer
  2. 1 lbmushrooms
  3. 3 smallonions
  4. 1/2 stickbutter
  5. 1 lbbre
  6. 1/2 tbspgarlic
  7. 1 loafbaggets

Steps

  1. 1

    pre heat oven to 350*

  2. 2

    chop your favorite mushrooms (can use can mushrooms I prefer fresh)

  3. 3

    chop onions

  4. 4

    Saute mushrooms, onions, garlic, and butter in a skillet until onions are caramelized

  5. 5

    Cut the round of Brie in half as if it were a hamburger bun

  6. 6

    Now with two full moon shaped Bri cut in half again to create a total of four Crescent Moons (half circles)

  7. 7

    I don't like the outside crust of bre, even though it is edible so I take a knife and scrape off most of it but that's an option

  8. 8

    place sautéed mix into deep dish you can put in the oven. place the bre with the center down covering the mushrooms. the flat sides should be parellel to the sides of the dish.

  9. 9

    place dish in the over for 10 -15min untill bre has melted and spead over mushrooms. then take out to cool down for 5 mins or less

  10. 10

    cut your baget in to thin slices add a little butter and place in oven for 5-10mins depending on how crispy you like them.

    let people serve themselves or spoon dip onto baggets and serve warm.. so good
