Ingredients

  • 3/4 cupbuttermilk
  • 1 cupall purpose flour
  • 2 tbspsugar
  • 1 tspbaking powder
  • 1/2 tspbaking soda
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 2 tbspbutter or veg oil
  • 1egg

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine dry ingredients

  2. 2

    Whisk egg and butter or oil into buttermilk

  3. 3

    Mix wet and dry ingredients until lumps are gone

  4. 4

    Heat skillet over medium heat, pour 1/4 cup fulls of batter and cook until golden on each side
