Perfect complement to fish or meat

Just wanted something for a couples dinner and this is what I came up with. Can be combined with bread crumbs and grated Parmesan and used to fill oysters.

Just wanted something for a couples dinner and this is what I came up with. Can be combined with bread crumbs and grated Parmesan and used to fill oysters.
Steps

Chop up mushrooms into chucks small dice if you prefer. Place in bowl.

Finely chop cilantro add to bowl.

Mince onion or shallot, if using a leek clean and slice thinly. Add to bowl.(to clean leek slice in half lengthwise and submerge in water shake loose to clean any dirt. )

Juice and zest your citrus into the bowl.

Add seasoning to the bowl. May cut back to reduce sodium. I use a combo to get to a tablespoon like crushed red pepper, garlic powder, oregano( for fish or chicken), even chili or cumin(for a more robust flavor with beef or pork)

Add to top of your meat after you have pan seared the meat of you choice. Eat fresh or bake for 5-10 minutes. Can drizzle with truffle oil for a more elegant affair.
