Clean and wash the whole koi fish.

Marinate the fishes with salt and turmeric for 10 minutes.

Heat mustard oil in a kadhai.Deep fry the whole koi fish.

Keep it aside

On the remaining oil add kalonji bay leaf.Add onion and ginger paste.stir it for 2 minutes.

Add turmeric powder red chilli powder and salt.mix it well.

Add chopped tomatoes.stir it.Add green chillies.

When the tomatoes become soft and tender add 1/2 cup water.

Add fish into the kadhai and cover it.

Cook it on low flame for 5 minutes..Add sugar.

When the oil separate from masala switch off the flame and add coriander leaves.

Serve hot with boiled rice.
