Rub pork roast with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Place onion in bottom of slow cooker, then pork on top. Pour can of soda over pork.

Cook on high for 4-5 hrs or low 7-8 hrs.

When done, shred pork with 2 forks and place back in the juices. Add bbq sauce. Cook an additional 30-60 min.
