This is a very simple recipe that's perfect for baking with kids—no special equipment needed. The bread has a super moist texture, somewhere between bread and cake. It only takes about 10 minutes to prepare; the rest is up to your oven!
Steps
- 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
- 2
In a large bowl, mix all the remaining ingredients except the blueberries until well combined.
- 3
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just blended. Fold in the blueberries.
- 4
Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Pour in the batter. Bake for 20 minutes, then loosely cover with aluminum foil. Lower the oven temperature to 320°F (160°C) and bake for another 30–35 minutes, or until a chopstick or skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 5
Remove from the oven and let cool before slicing.
