Ingredients

10 servings
  • 1 1/4 cupGranulated Sugar
  • 3 tbspcornstarch
  • 3Egg Yokes (Save Whites for Merange)
  • 3 cupMilk
  • 1/2 cupcocoa
  • 1 tbspunsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 tspvanilla extract
  • 1/2 tspsalt

Steps

  1. 1

    In a saucepan combined the egg yokes, sugar, cornstarch, milk, cocoa and salt. Bring to a boil.

  2. 2

    Once boiling remove from heat adding in the butter and vanilla. Allow to cool before pouring into pie shell
