Ingredients

10 servings
  1. 1 1/4 cupGranulated Sugar
  2. 3 tbspcornstarch
  3. 3Egg Yokes (Save Whites for Merange)
  4. 3 cupMilk
  5. 1/2 cupcocoa
  6. 1 tbspunsalted butter
  7. 1 1/2 tspvanilla extract
  8. 1/2 tspsalt

Steps

  1. 1

    In a saucepan combined the egg yokes, sugar, cornstarch, milk, cocoa and salt. Bring to a boil.

  2. 2

    Once boiling remove from heat adding in the butter and vanilla. Allow to cool before pouring into pie shell
