Ingredients

10 servings
  • 1/2 cupButter
  • 4 ozUnsweetened Chocolate
  • 1 dashSalt
  • 3 cupGranulated Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cupEvaporated Milk
  • 2 tspVanilla

Steps

  1. 1

    In a sauce pan add the butter and chocolate

  2. 2

    Stir in the salt (1/8 teaspoon) and sugar

  3. 3

    Then slowly stir in the evaporated milk

  4. 4

    Cook until the sauce is thick – 5 to 15 minutes

  5. 5

    Remove from heat, add vanilla.

  6. 6

    Cool slightly and pour into warm glass jars

  7. 7

    Cover and refrigerate
