Waffles
Some of the best waffles I've had! So worth the extra time!
Cooking Instructions

Preheat waffle iron.

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl.

In a separate bowl whisk milk, egg yolks and vanilla. Pour over dry ingredients and very gently stir until halfway combined. Pour in melted butter and continue mixing gently until combined.

In a separate bowl using a mixer beat egg whites until stiff. Carefully fold into batter stopping short of mixing them all the way in.

Scoop onto hot waffle iron following iron directions. Serve immediately.

This is an adaptation of my pancake recipe (which I'd worked on for about 10 years) which I'd made after I got a waffle iron. I might like these even better, so definitely give it a try! Makes a great breakfast when you want something nice but don't want to spend too much time either. lulublululu
