Rub jerk seasoning on chicken day before cooking and place in fridge

Spray slow cooker with cooking spray

Cut up onion and scotch bonnet pepper

Put chicken in slow cooker and put thyme, onions and scotch bonnet pepper on top

Pour cola in slow cooker

Cook on low heat setting 8 to 10 hours

Remove chicken from slow cooker and pull apart with two forks into shreds

Poor juice out of cooker and keep

Place chicken back in cooker and stir in barbecue sauce and a 1/4 cup of the juices

Cook on high for 30 to 45 minutes until heated through

Serve on bun
