Ingredients

  1. 2 1/2 lbround roast
  2. 1 largeSweet onion
  3. 6 smallred potatoes
  4. 2green onions (optional)
  5. 2 tspcracked black pepper (ground)
  6. 2 tspGarlic salt
  7. 1 tbspbasil
  8. 2 cupwater

    preheat oven to 325

  2. 2

    prepair round roast by rubbing half of all seasonings onto roast set aside and let rest for about 15 minutes

  3. 3

    while roast is resting, chop up onions and potatoes put in large bowl add the rest of the seasoning and toss until ingredients are evenly distributed.

  4. 4

    in large pot, add roast, veggies, and then add the 2 cups water to the bottom of the pot. cover and put in oven.

  5. 5

    bake at 325 for 1 hour, lower heat to 300 and bake for an additional 1 hour and 15 minutes. remove from oven, let sit for about 15 minutes and enjoy!

  6. 6

    If making in crock pot, set to low heat for about 8-9 hours, or high for 5-6
