Seive the flour, and salt together. add the ajwain.

Mix the carom seeds add the ghee.

Add water and start to knead the dough.

The dough should not be soft, but a little tight and hard.

Make the mathris in any shape

For round shape make a small lemon sized balls
- 7
Roll all with greased hands to make them smooth

Roll with rolling pin in the shape of small poories of medium thickness

Prick them partially with knife

Fry the mathris in low to medium hot oil till browned and crisp.

Serve mathri as a snack with indian chai or with punjabi mango lemon or red chilli pickle.
