Steps

Wash your beans and pour into a pot of boiling water. Let to boil till tender but not too soft, bring it down.

Parboil your rice, bring it out of heat, wash and set aside

Put a pot on fire, when it dries, pour in the vegetable oil, then onions, saute it and then add the tomato paste.

Turn it so it does not burn, check for the sour taste if it's out, then put in the beans and other seasoning.

Allow to simmer very well before pouring in the rice, check for salt and pepper, don't cover it so that the water would evaporate, and cook on a low heat.

When both rice and beans are tender, and water dry, your meal is ready
