Boil the chana daal with salt and turmeric powder

Now heat oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf and red chilli

As it crackle add cumin coriander powder and ginger paste

Saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

Add red chilli Powder and mix

Now pour the boiled daal and simmer adding sugar

Add garam masala powder and serve with puri
