Ingredients

  1. 1 cupWhite chanasoaked overnight (kabuli channa)
  2. 3/4 cupPalak purée (spinach)
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. 1/4 tspRed chilli powder
  5. 1 tbspChana masala or chole masala
  6. 1/4 tspTurmeric
  7. 1 tspGinger garlic chopped each
  8. Asofetida little
  9. 1Onion chopped finely
  10. 2Tomato finely chopped or purée
  11. 2 tbspOil
  12. Cloves, cinnamon, tej patta, cardamom each few

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil chole with dry ingredients with garlic and ginger

  2. 2

    Now make purée of spinach

  3. 3

    Now heat oil in a pan add1 tej patta, 2 cloves,3-4 black pepper corns, 1 cinnamon stick heat for a minute

  4. 4

    Add onion sauté till golden brown add tomato purée or chopped till leaves the ghee

  5. 5

    Now add spinach purée and sauté for two minutes then add chole or white chanaand mix well

  6. 6

    Add water if needs and cook till gravy thick or ur desired consistency

  7. 7

    Enjoy in any occasion or in lunch or breakfast with poori and bhturas
