Soak dal for 6 hour.grind into smooth paste adding chilli,hing and garlic.add rice flour, salt and mix well

Heat idli stand..grease idli plates. Add eno in dal batter and mix immediately.. half full idli cups with dal batter and steam for 12 to 15 minutes or until idlies are well cooked..check by inserting tooth pick.

Heat oil in a pan..fry Rai and curry leaves.sprinkle Rai curry leaves on idli and serve with coconut chatani
