Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 lbbrussels sprouts
  2. 2 Tbspolive oil
  3. 3-4 clovesgarlic, diced
  4. to tastesalt and pepper
  5. diced chorizo (optional)
  6. onion (optional)

Steps

  1. 1

    Clean brussels sprouts by removing outer layer of leaves and trimming stems. Cut each sprout into 1/4" thick slices.

  2. 2

    Heat oil over medium-high heat in a large pan. Add garlic and cook untill softened. If using chorizo and onion add them in now.

  3. 3

    Add sprouts, cook 2 to 3 min. until oil is absorbed.

  4. 4

    During this time sprouts will begin to brown. Turn heat down and cook for about another 5 min., stirring occationally, until sprouts become browned and slightly crispy. Season with salt and pepper.
