I love crisps so much and decided to try them out by myself. My favorite is *SALT&VINEGER* 🤤🤤🤤 though I didn't have the seasoning. I tried it differently

I love crisps so much and decided to try them out by myself. My favorite is *SALT&VINEGER* 🤤🤤🤤 though I didn't have the seasoning. I tried it differently

Peel your potatoes and slice in chips.

Put in a bowl and wash to remove the starch. Do this twice.

Soak them in ice cold water and add a bit of salt.

Add the lemon juice to the water and mix lightly. Let it sit for 1hour.

Drain the water and drape the excess using a kitchen towel.

In a pot heat your cooking oil untill hot.

Place the chips slowly to avoid spilling of the hot oil.

Cook for 4-5mins or until it begins to crisp.

Drain on a kitchen sieve to remove excess oil.

Add your favourite seasoning.

Set aside to cool and become more crispy for 30mins-1hour.

Store in an air tight container.
