Steps

1 hour
  1. 1

To a pan boil one cup of water with salt in it then add peas and boil for 20 minutes until soft.Remove from heat and put in a plate and rinse the pan.

  2. 2

Cut the capsicum, garlic, onions,in a dish.cut tomatoes in another dish.

  3. 3

To the cooking pan add enough oil for both rice and peas although rice won't be fried here. Then add the mixture of garlic, onions and capsicum to fry.Let the onions brown then add tomatoes and a tsp salt to taste.Add royco and mix well. Cover as it cooks to soften the tomatoes.

  4. 4

Add the already boiled peas and mix well then add half a cup water for stew.

  5. 5

To another pan,add 4 cups of water and 1 tsp salt to taste. Wait until it boils then add the rice. Here,no cooking oil is used. Because the peas has enough cooking oil for the rice,no need to add more.

  6. 6

Allow it to boil until the water is almost drained then add the fried peas and mix well. Cover the pan to let it drain water. Remove from heat and then serve.
