Ingredients

5 person
  • 5 cup thick idli batter
  • 1 tbspspinach paste
  • 1 tbspcarrot paste
  • 1 tbspbeetroot paste
  • 1 tspturmeric powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 2large onion (sliced)
  • 2green chillies (chopped)
  • 1 tspmustard seeds
  • 1 tspcumin seeds
  • 1 tbspchopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 tbspcurry leaves
  • 1 tbspoil

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix different colour pasts in different cupsof idli batter

  2. 2

    Keep one cup idli batter white.

  3. 3

    Now cook it in appe pan.

    Now heat oil in one pan.

  5. 5

    Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chillies and curry leaves in it.

  6. 6

    Now fry onion and cook it for 2-3 minutes.

  7. 7

    Now add other ingredients other than coriander leaves.

  8. 8

    Cook for 2-3 minutes.

  9. 9

    Now add coriander leaves and serve hot yummy colourful idli.
