Peel the pumpkin and grate it coarsely or cut into the slices.

In a large mixing bowl combine the grated pumpkin, turmeric powder,cumin seeds powder, chilli powder, gram flour to the mixture.Mix thoroughly. Add a little water only if the mixture feels too dry. Heat sufficient oil in a deep frying pan or wok over medium heat.Take small portion of the mixture using your fingers and gently drop them into the hot oil.

Fry the pakoras on a medium flame, turning them occasionally until they turn golden brown and crispy on all sides.Remove the pakoras slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.Pumpkin pakora is ready.Serve with chilli sauce.
