Steps

Heat oil in a pan, add onions and let it saute, add ginger and garlic, saute it.

Add tomatoes and cashews, let it simmer for 5-7 minutes till the cashews turn tender.

Switch off the flame and let it cool.

Blend it to a puree in mixer when cool down.

Take butter in a pan and add whole spices and add prepared and strained puree.

Add in frozen peas and fried mushrooms and cook on medium flame for 10 minutes.

Your mushroom matar is ready to serve.
