Preheat oven to 375 degrees

In a small saucepan melt butter

In medium bowl or food processor, combine butter, ginger snap crumbs, and sugar and blend until texture of coarse meal

Press into 9 or 10 inch pie pan trying to make the crust about 1/8 inch thick uniformly.

Bake approximately 8 to 10 minutes. You want the edges to be slightly browned. NOTE: If you chill the crust for about an hout before baking, it will help prevent crumbling when serving.

Remove from overn and let cool on wire rick before filling
