Ingredients

10-15 mins
4 servings
  1. 6 cupwashed and chopped mustard leaves(sarson ke pattern)
  2. 5 cupwashed and chopped spinach (palak)
  3. 1 tbsp green chillies
  4. 2 tbsp oil
  5. 1 tbspcumin seeds (jeera)
  6. 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  7. 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger
  8. 1 cupfinely chopped onion
  9. 1/2finely chopped tomato
  10. 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
  11. 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  12. 1/2 tbsp garam masala
  13. 1 tbsp coriander - cumin seeds powder
  14. 2 pinchMaggi masala
  15. 1 cupboiled sweet corn
  16. to tasteSalt

Steps

10-15 mins
  1. 1

    Boil enough water in a deep non-stick pan,add mustard leaves, spinach and green chillies. Mix well and cook on a high flame for 4-5 mins.

    Strain using a strainer and drain well.

  3. 3

    Refresh it twice in enough cold water immediately and drain well again. Keep aside for 2-3 mins to cool slightly.

  4. 4

    Blend in mixture and keep aside.

  5. 5

    Heat the oil in a non-stick kadhai and add cumin seeds.

  6. 6

    When the seeds crackle, add garlic, ginger and saute on a medium flame for 30 seconds.

  7. 7

    Add onions,tomato and again saute on a medium flame for 1 min.

  8. 8

    Add all dried masalas. Mix well.

  9. 9

    Add mustard-spinach mixture and boiled sweet corn. Stir and mix well.

  10. 10

    Serve hot with makai ki roti.
