Beef Pilau

In a large saucepan, boil the beef with 2 whole cloves of garlic and a piece ginger until meat is tender. Drain the stock into a separate bowl and put the beef in another dish

In a heated saucepan, add some oil and then add in the onions. Let them brown. Add in the ginger, garlic and the spices then stir. Reduce heat to medium and keep stirring for around 2 minutes.

Add the boiled beef and some salt and pepper. stir gently and carefully. Cover for like 10 minutes.

Add the rice and stir to attain some brown (light) color. Make sure everything has mixed well for about a minute. Cover for another 8 - 10 minutes.

Pour the stock into the rice mixture and stir to mix everything together. Reduce the heat to medium and let cook for 20 - 30 minutes. Remove from heat, when still cover and let sit for another 10 - 15 minutes.

Serve.
