Ingredients

30 minutes
4 servings
  • 250 gmmung dal
  • 1/2 cupcarrot pieces
  • 1/3 cupbeans pieces
  • 1 cupcauliflower pieces
  • 1/3 cuppeas
  • 1tomato
  • 1 tspginger paste
  • 2dry red chilli
  • 1/2 tspradhuni/ celery seeds
  • 2bay leaves
  • 2green chillies chopped
  • 3 tbspoil
  • 1/2 cuppotato pieces
  • To tastesalt
  • 1 tspTurmeric powder
  • 8cashew nuts
  • 10raisins
  • 1 tbspghee

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Dry roast dal in a pan till golden. Then boil to soft 60 %.

  2. 2

    Boil vegetables except tomato until half soft.

  3. 3

    Add oil into pan. Add red chilli,bay leaves,randhuni and ginger paste. After 20 seconds add boiled vegetables.Add salt and turmeric. Fry for 5 minutes. Add Cashew and raisins. Add chopped tomato. And saute for 2 minutes. Add dal with sufficient water. Boil for 8 minutes. Add sugar and ghee. Serve with roti or rice.
