Steps

Take a bowl and add all ingredients except water and oil. Mix all well and make a thick paste with water.

Cut the brinjal in slices and dip it in warm water for 2 mins.

Heat oil in a pan.

Take slices out of water. Dip the brinjal slice in gram flour batter and place it in medium hot oil for frying.

Fry till golden brown colour.

Serve hot with tomato sauce and pudina chutney.
