Fish Awara(Tofu)

#Awaracontest
#awaracontest was what inspired me make this tofu. I checked how Others In Cookpad did theirs and also went as far as checking online (google ) to see how Authors made theirs and my garnishes especially was something I dint find here in Cookpad so I made mine with the fish mixed in d tofu and a different shape aside those found mostly in cube form. I used honey and sesame to look unique and more appealing that it will be different from those already posted. My kids were surprised and loved it so much. I went as far as taking some tofu to the office for my colleagues to taste and they were happy n munched it away happily 😀Thank u Cookpad for giving me this opportunity.❤️U

Steps
- 1
Pick dirt from soya beans. Wash and allow to soak for an hour, take to d mill to grind it.
- 2
Now sieve and throw chaff away and put soya milk on fire to cook. When it start boiling quickly add vinegar and u will see that the milk from the paste has started to curdling to one side and d water to the other side Also Add pepper and onions
- 3
Add sardine (fish)mix well and strain in a cloth to drain out excess water. Don’t strain too much so that it will b soft when u r eating later.
- 4
Remove from cloth and cut into desired shapes. Soak into meat stock for 5 mins or more so that the juice can seep into the tofu very well
- 5
Fry till golden. Serve and enjoy with rice or in salad. I now blended green pepper and garlic+ ginger paste + seasonings and with olive oil to be used as Dip.
