Slice the almonds or grind coarsely

Mix salt, flour, sugar, baking powder, almonds and raisins

Add milk and ghee. Reserve remaining ghee for greasing the rotis. Knead for 15 minutes to form smooth dough. Cover and rest for 2 hours

Divide dough in equal portions. Roll out as roti, now fold the dough in semi circle, sprinkle little poppy seeds and ghee. Fold and roll the dough again to form roti. Prick roti with fork all over

Grill roti in oven, pan or tandoor. Preheat oven to 200.

Bake for 10-12 minutes. Both sides should be cooked. Smear ghee and serve hot with spicy curry
