Ingredients

  • 21/2 cupsExe Self raising flour
  • 1 tablespoonbaking powder
  • Lemons
  • 1 cupSugar
  • 4eggs
  • 2table spoons of water
  • 2 table spooncooking oil
  • 100 gramblue band

Steps

  1. 1

    Light your jiko

  2. 2

    Sieve your flour

  3. 3

    Grate the lemon rind and squeeze the lemon juice

  4. 4

    Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar and the grated lemon rind

  5. 5

    Rub the blueband to the mixture

  6. 6

    Make a well and add the eggs and mix well and add the water and cooking oil and the lemon juice to achieve a batter consistency

  7. 7

    Prepare your sufurias on a big sufuria place 4 spoons

    On the smaller one put your batter and place inside the big sufuria and place it on the jiko

  9. 9

    Put your lid and place a wet table cloth on the lid

    Bake for 30- 45 minutes

    Insert a squure if it comes out clean the cake is ready
