Ingredients

  • 1 cuprice flour
  • 1 tbssugar
  • 1/2 cupblack sesame
  • 1/2 cupjaggery
  • 1/2 tspCardamom
  • 1/4 cupwhite sesame
  • 2 table spoonroasted peanut
  • 1 pinchbaking soda
  • 2 tbscornflour
  • To tasteSalt
  • as neededOil

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a pan Add little salt and 1 tbs sugar, bring it to boil, switch off the flame. In this boiled water add 1 cup rice flour, and baking soda, mix well, cover it with lid, let it cool

    Dry roast black sesame in a pan on slow heat, keep a side and let it cool,

    Mix jaggery, roasted black sesame seeds, and grinded it to a fine powder, add coarsely grinded peanuts, Cardamom powder mix well. Keep this mixture aside.

    Now knead the rice flour dough nicely. Take small portion of dough and make a ball. Use your thumb to make a deep indentation in the ball and then the thumb and index fingers of both hands to form the ball into a cup.

    Place one spoon filling on this cup. Gently pack the filling down. Gather the edges of the dough over the filling and, again, pleat until the hole is about 1/2 inch in diameter. Squeeze together the dough, pressing to seal the dough securely. Roll between the plam to form a ball.

    Make all the balls same way.

  7. 7

    Take small bowl add cornflour and water to make a running mixture, dip all prepared balls in it one by one, then coat all balls with sesame seeds

    Keep this ball in freezer for 5 min.

    Heat the oil, on medium flame for deep frying, place all the balls one by one in oil, fry them on medium flame, till they become golden brown in colour.

    Store in air tight container.
