Ingredients

4 servings. Or more.
  • 1 lbstewing beef
  • Bunchspring onions
  • Packetmiso soup paste or a stock vube
  • TeaspoonChinese five spice
  • 1 teaspoonginger. I use lazy ginger!
  • 1/2 pintwater
  • Tablespoontomatoes purée
  • Tablespoonbbq sauce
  • Chopped coriander

Steps

  1. 1

    Turn on slow cooker to high.

  2. 2

    Add meat.

  3. 3

    Stir in ginger. Spices. Purée and bbq sauce.

  4. 4

    Add miso paste to the water. I use warm.

  5. 5

    Chop the spring onion. Add half to the meat mixture. Keep rest for serving.

  6. 6

    Mix the miso mixture into meat mix. Give good stir.

  7. 7

    Cook for at least 4 hours.

  8. 8

    If you wish turn cooker down and cook all day.

  9. 9

    Serve with noodles chopped coriander and the rest of spring onion and a few crushed peanuts on top
