Wash your potato thoroughly, you can peel if you like.

Cut the potato imto the desired shape. Could do rings, wedges or just normal shape for fries. Wash and drain the excess water.

If you like, you could boil them, fork tender. As for this case, I did not boil. I directly shallow fried them on a skillet. Note that if you don't pre-boil, do npt let them brown that much, they'll be too crunchy and hard to chew, 8-10 minutes is enough.
