Wash and soak rice in hot water for 15 mins

Meanwhile heat the oil, Sauté onions ginger and garlic paste add the tin tomatoes and peppers, add a 3 cups of water and allow to boil

Now wash and peel all the veggies, cut the cabbages in big chunks

Add the meat or chicken in the pot, add salt and seasonings, potatoes, cabbage, carrots and any other vegetable you wish to add close the pot and cook till the content of the pot is done and soft, use a slated spoon to remove the veggies and meat from the pot, remove at least 1/2 cup of the stock water together with the veggies to.

Now reduce the heat and adjust the seasonings, drain the soaked rice and add to the pot mix thoroughly and let it simmer on low heat till rice is soft.

Serve in a plate and pour the veggies and the rest of the stock on top and serve, I served mine with coleslaw and sunset Mocktail
