Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

In an electric mixer, beat the sugar and oil. Add the eggs, beating well after each one.

Add the red food coloring and vanilla, and continue beating. Add the flour, cocoa powder, milk, salt, and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, and continue beating.

In a small bowl, mix the remaining vinegar with the baking soda. Add to the batter and continue beating for 10 minutes.

Grease your pan with butter or vegetable shortening and dust with flour so the cake can be easily removed after baking.

Pour the mixture into your pan and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until a fork inserted comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes. Remove from the pan and decorate or enjoy as you like.
