This is a very simple stuffed mushroom filled with a combination of cheeses to make them full flavored, creamy with some heat. The bacon is, well just delicious with the cheese and mushrooms! Serve as an appetizer or a side dish or even on a salad.

This recipe is inspired by Lomghorn Steakhouse's White Cheddar Mushrooms. Its not quite the same, but a delicious rich appetizer or side dish!

I love stuffed mushrooms, but they always seem to either be stuffed with a cream cheese/crab blend or a sausage/breadcrumb blrnd. I took what I think is the best part of each variety and came up with these little gems. They were a hit at a recent family reunion.

I wanted some homemade Mac n cheese and decided to experiment along the way. I must say I'm pretty pleased with the outcome! My problem is I don't usually measure ingredients, I just add whatever so I never know the exact amount.All in all a good dish I'd say!!

It's an easy side dish.If you don't mix the mayonnaise just before baking, it will get watery, so please be aware of that.If the cheese gets browned too fast in Step 5, cover it with a piece of foil.
