Cook yellow pumpkin with little water for 5 minutes, cool it and grind in a mixie. Keep the pumpkin puree in a plate

Knead the wheat flour with pumpkin puree, 2 spoons oil and salt. Add water if necessary.

Apply 2 spoons oil on the dough and cover it for 1 hour with a wet cloth

After 1 hour knead the dough well and prepare balls. Cover the balls with the wet cloth.

Take one ball, roll it into big circle and cut it into rectangular shape.

Draw parallel lines on the rectangle with a rolling wheel without touching the edges

Apply water on 4 edges of the rectangle and fold it

Again fold the rectangle and now it is 4 layered.

Fold the top and bottom edges backwards. Now it looks like a leaf.

Now insert bottom edge into centre of the leaf.

Insert and pull the edge out

Prepare leaves with all dough and deep fry them in oil

Prepare sugar syrup with 100 ml sugar and water.

Boil it for 5 minutes and add cardamom powder.

Now soak the fried leaves in prepared sugar syrup

After soaking for 5 minutes arrange them in a plate and garnish them with cherries, tutti fruitti and jeera toffee
