Colourful Mat Ghujiya

In a bowl mix the flour, salt, Add the ghee to the flour mix and incorporate it nicely with your fingertips till it resembles breadcrumbs.

Divide the dough into 3 equal portions one portion remain same as white colour and other two, add the red and green food colouring and knead it properly with required water now so that the colour gets incorporated making it a green and red coloured dough.Keep covered for 10minutes.

Now heat a pan add 1 tbsp ghee, then add khoya, and cook it for 2 minutes then add cardamom powder, crushed Peanut, sesame powder mix well then add sugar powder.Cook for 2 min. Now Stuffing is ready.

Now roll big chapati of all dough.

White remain same. And cut red, and green chapati, vertically in equal parts.

Firstly place white chapati now arrange red and green strips horizontally and vertically like a mat on a white chapati.(shown in picture.)

Press gently and cut into a circle.and now turn it.

Put the stuffing in middle of white chapati. Now seal carefully like half moon.

Heat oil in a pan and deep fry mat ghujiya on low medium flame till both side cook. Mat ghujiya is ready to serve.
