Start by de-seeding the soaked apricots and then transfer apricots along with water in a heavy bottom vessel. Sprinkle salt, cover with a lid and cook over low flame.

Stir occasionally till apricots are fully cooked and become mushy.

Simmer it for 4-5 minutes or till you get the desired consistency. Switch off the flame and let it cool down a little, then add rose water and mix well.

Serve in individual bowls and garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios. Either serve warm or chilled.
