Cut the beef into pieces and boil for 15 minutes to soften soak the grinded pilau masala by adding a little drops of water. Boil 8 cups of water.

Cut your onions and tomatoes into small size,grind the garlic and ginger. Into a dry sufuria, add half a quarter litre of cooking oil and heat for a while, deep the onions and fry till golden brown.

Then add the grinded garlic and ginger and fry till the mixture becomes brown

Then add the tomatoes and spoonful salt and fry till they form a thick soup. Now add your soaked pilau masala and stir to mix. Fry till the water evaporates.

Next add the boiled meat and stir to mix well, then add the rice and stir also to mix.

Then add Four half litre cups of hot water and continue stirring as it cook. Moderate the amount of heat slowly by slowly till the water evaporates. Use aluminium foil to cover the sufuria so as to dry well.now cool the pilau and serve with kachumbari.
