Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 cupmilk
  2. 1-1/2 cupwater
  3. 1/2 cuprice
  4. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  5. 1/2 teaspoonbutter

Steps

  1. 1

    Begin to boil water, add pre-washed and drained rice.

  2. 2

    Cook for 15 minutes without stirring. Add the salt, milk and butter and allow to boil.

  3. 3

    Lower the heat and simmer for 15 minutes more.

  4. 4

    Take it off heat and add milk if creamier consistency is desired.
